Merry Xmas!!!
And for you, a present!
So, it's Christmas Day meaning everybody should be happy and full of joy! But... If you're not, I have the perfect present just waiting to be received! And it's here, right in this very post.
An explanation is needed I suppose... So here goes. I study "Media Studies" at A level standard, in other words; We watch videos, read newspapers, make a few of our own posters and videos, finally get an A.
Being me, I had a a brilliant genius idea for our "practice practical." I thought of doing a film trailer for a romance film... A romance with a twist. The twist is... The two star-crossed lovers would BOTH be played by the SAME person, namely me.
So I got together with my mate James P. and we got started on the project. We wrote the script one night and stored it in our heads... Then we began to film it. Finally James edited the film! And the final trailer was complete... Now, here it is for your viewing pleasure, hope you enjoy. And I also hope you don't get turned on by it... That would just be wrong on so many levels.
Teacher loved it and put it on the "Shared Documents" section of the school network... Great... I don't really want videos of me doing THAT circulating around school now do I?! He showed it to the Media group in the year above us, and they loved it. Good signs I 'spose.
Please don't rip the piss out of us too hard... It's supposed to be light hearted! And it IS Xmas after all.
LATER: Just noticed that the video is only 2 minutes of the final thing... chopping a few seconds off the end, no real matter. Just bear in mind it doesn't end as abruptly as that for the real thing.
