Inequality

Sorry people. I'm afraid, there isn't a prepared post this week.

So I'll just rant about racism & sexism.

Now, I'm no racist and people who know me should know that. But racism is getting out of hand... And swinging the other way. Now, in our day and age of equality, you would expect exactly that; equality.

But nope. I disagree. There is not equality everywhere. Of course there is the standard form of racism. But now, in a generation that BEGS for equal rights, we find a new kind of inequality. And this form of racism goes like so.

Policeman #1: So, Mr. Smith was the best for the job
Policeman #2: On paper. But imagine the uproar when we don't hire that Asian man!
Policeman #3: Let's hire him, because he's Asian. And by doing this we are creating equality. Even though it wasn't fair.
Policeman #1, 2 & 3: ^_^

There you have it. An actual transcript taken after a session of interviews for a new superintendent at Hamwick* Police Station.

But it's not just racism! Sexism is also changing hands. At one point, it was considered by all men, that a woman should stay home and have her husband's dinner ready by the time he gets back, otherwise, he has her executed. But now women can have any job, and I say great! Equality here we come!

But... Then I heard a woman say this in a supermarket:

Portly woman: All men are sexist!

WHAT?! Way to go and be sexist, putting every-single-man on the face of this Earth, into one single group.

I would just like to reiterate, that I am not prejudice in any way, except against chavs. And it doesn't matter that I said that, because they can't read.

In other news. As of posting, I have again overdone my bandwidth. No header for you! Or me. Which sucks!

* Hamwick may not be a real place.
